1 Year Celebration!!

Tyler has been home one year as of September 28!  Do you think Mississippi misses him?  (that's where he served his church mission, in case you were wondering).  A goof who won't pose properly so his mother can take a photo for the family blog?  (Shh...I didn't tell him it was going on here! ;))  We're so happy to celebrate this one year anniversary together!  And, guess what?  Eggnog is in the stores now!  Now that made his day!!!

Life is Not a Race -- But Indeed a Journey

Life is not a Race -- but indeed a journey.
Be Honest.
Work Hard.
Be Choosy.
Say "Thank You", "I Love You", & "Great Job" to someone each day.
Go to church, take time for prayer.
Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper.
Love your life and what you've been given, it is not accidental.
Search for your purpose and do it as best as you can.
Dreaming does matter.  It allows you to become that which you aspire to be.
Laugh often.  Give a Smile to everyone you meet.
Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them.
Some of the best things really are free.
Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming.
Forgive, it frees the soul.
Take time for yourself -- plan for longevity.
Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know.
Live for today, Enjoy the moment!

Happy Easter!

Easter is more than the Easter bunny, the chocolate, colouring Easter eggs, and the Easter egg hunt.  It began a long time ago when our Savior Jesus Christ suffered for our sins, was crucified and died for us.  He returned as a resurrected being, body and spirit reunited, to bear evidence to all mankind that He lives, He was risen and resurrected.  He died that man might live.

I hope we will all take some time from our celebrations to recall His loving sacrifice.  What greater love can we know than that of our Savior who willingly suffered on our behalf that we might be able to repent of our sins and be resurrected as a whole, to be reunited with Him again.  My heart is full as I ponder so magnificent and perfect a love.

May you spend this Easter in remembrance, surrounded by those you love.  Happy Easter!!

Lilo and Stitch are Parents Again

January 1 welcomed the additon of three sweet little puppies, two female and one male, to our home.  Proud parents are Lilo (female Maltese) and Stitch (male Lhasa Apso/Maltese).  In eight weeks they will be ready to go to new homes, however one female is already spoken for.  Who could resist these little sweethearts?

Happy New Year!!

New Year's Eve was spent with some friends but first our family went to Maisie's house in North Edmonton.  See photo above.  Matt we sure missed you.  Hope you are feeling better!
New Year's day our family spent at my sister's with her and her husband, my brother and his wife and their beautiful dog Didi.

My sister holding Didi, my sister-in-law, me and my daughter.

When we arrived home we found our dog, Lilo, with two puppies.  She had another shortly after we arrived.  Three little puppies in all.  Lilo and Stitch are parents again!

That was our exciting New Years!!!  Hope everyone, family and friends, enjoys a prosperous and happy new year.
Happy New Year!!
